Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for processing the day to day debit operation of the debit card program including ordering and distribution
  • Responsible for processing fraud and dispute claims ensuring all claims are filed and reported timely and accurately
  • Lead projects related to the card programs
  • Responsible for managing general ledgers related to card settlement and fraud claim processing
  • Represents Client Operations in a positive, effective and professional manner
  • Respond quickly to customer demands, perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Accurately and effectively process requests for client and account maintenance, address changes, debit card issuances and maintenance
  • Process miscellaneous requests such as stop payments, refund requests, statement requests
  • Assist with documentation of departmental processes
  • Provide prompt and courteous service
  • Identify client needs, answer questions, and resolve issues
  • Assist with all aspects of card services as needed
  • Assist with other department duties as needed
  • Assist with internal reviews to ensure departmental compliance with policies and procedures
  • General administrative duties such as copy, filing and mail distribution
  • Complete special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 7-10 years banking experience, as well as 5 years of customer service, with strong customer service skills and 3-5 years of debit card experience
  • General knowledge of banking rules and regulations and banking policies and procedures
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to work independently on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision
  • Internal candidates must have an advanced knowledge of Signature UI navigation, Nautilus reports, and transaction codes
  • Excellent organizational, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude, maintaining a pleasant demeanor at all times
  • Proficient PC/Internet skills (Microsoft Office including Word and Excel)
  • Keyboarding skills of 40 to 50 wpm
  • Detail orientated and ability to multi-task
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be team oriented
