Job description

We're seeking a motivated, self-starter to fill our retail Area Co-Manager position in North Bend. Candidate must have convenient store experience to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of their assigned sites/stores as defined below:
Main Duties:
  • Assist with other sites/stores as need and available for vacation, illness, or business needs
  • Create employee schedule for part time and full time staff to maintain store operating hours with appropriate staff
  • Interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, and termination of staff
  • Holding staff responsible to follow policies, laws, and brand requirements
  • Complying with all laws, regulations, and policies
  • Manage employee mandatory meal and rest breaks in compliance with Oregon law
  • Daily paperwork and deposits completed in a timely manner
  • Invoice processing
  • Order, stock, and balance daily lottery
  • Inventory management, stocking, and pricing
  • Balance and load ATM
  • Vendor check-in
  • Repair/maintenance calls for store and gas island
  • Assist with daily deli cooking.
  • Service support for card readers and other equipment.

Other Duties:
  • Maintain and build positive relations with vendors
  • Maintain both Carson and Brand standards for site
  • Identify ways to cut costs, increase sales and profitability
  • Monitor area gas and propane prices and report to leadership for change instructions
  • Secret Shop stores in the area: Make sure retails are in line with competition looking for opportunities to increase sales and/or profitability
  • Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization
  • Customer and employee conflict resolution

Qualifications include:
  • Convenience store experience in supervisory position
  • Organized and multi-tasker
