SUMMARY:ย  Managers the day-to-day operations of the Bankโ€™s centralized deposit functions, items processing, bookkeeping, and call center operations. Develops and recommends policies, procedures, and objectives related to deposit operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following, other duties may be assigned;
โ€ข Employee is responsible to understand and comply with regulatory requirements for financial transactions, most specifically Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) as it relates to specific job functions.
โ€ข Exhibits superior customer service as an Austin Bank team member. Demonstrates high quality relationship building techniques to ensure the customer receives the best possible solution to his banking and financial needs. Helps promote a loyal relationship between the customer and Austin bank.
โ€ข Participates in developing a teamwork atmosphere with co-workers as part of department or branch location by attending meetings, participating in discussions, treating co-workers with respect and courtesy, and contributing to departmental goals.
โ€ข Has a responsibility to stay abreast of company communications by reading publications, announcements and company e-mails, etc.
โ€ข Take advantage of appropriate communication channels regarding bank related business matters.
โ€ข Develop personal skills and capabilities through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to Company approval.
โ€ข Uphold and safeguard the organizations values particularly relating to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality both internally and externally.
โ€ข Develops plans and objectives to ensure the centralized deposit operational functions deliver a high standard of service to customers and employees.
โ€ข Assists senior management in developing, interpreting and implementing Bank policies and procedures for performing Bank functions.
โ€ข Maintains current knowledge of regulations, rules of supervisory and regulatory agencies pertaining to areas of responsibility. Analyzes, plans and implements rule and regulation changes through appropriate operational areas to ensure continued adherence with audit and compliance guidelines.

โ€ข Manages the areas of Bookkeeping, Call Center, Wires, Debit cards, Document Imaging etc.
โ€ข Bookkeeping through daily coordination with the managers and supervisors assigned directly to those operational areas.
โ€ข Ensures areas of responsibility are adequately staff with properly trained personnel.
โ€ข Ensures areas of responsibility are operate within the annually prepared budget and in a manner consistent with the budgetary, strategic and operational goals of the Bank.
โ€ข Maintains current knowledge of technological developments as related to areas of responsibility.
โ€ข Evaluates new developments to ensure the Bank maintains current equipment and systems necessary to service the growing needs of both internal and external customers.
โ€ข Manages various special projects assigned to the operational areas as delegated by senior management.
โ€ข Serves on various committees as assigned by senior management to enhance the flow of information to and from the Deposit Operations area.
โ€ข Implements and maintains established department and Bank policies, procedures and objectives, and quality assurance.
โ€ข Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and seminars.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
