Job description

This position is based at the Unitus Business Center in Tigard.

Primary duties:

  • Perform a variety of data entry and processing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness in critical Credit Union functions that may include, but are not limited to: ACH, legal processes, account corrections, wires, returned deposited items, IRAs, share drafts, account escheatment, tax reporting, and a variety of other standard deposit operations support tasks.
  • Provide support to both internal customers and external members via phone, email, chat and mail in complex account inquiries and procedural clarifications.
  • Routinely perform account research to respond to inquiries and perform miscellaneous file and account maintenance tasks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and support or lead department and credit union project initiatives as requested.
  • Develop and write internal communications that include but are not limited to operations procedures, staff bulletins, procedure manuals, and member communication.

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certificate.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in a financial services role that includes working with deposit accounts, including knowledge in retail banking regulations (Reg CC, Reg E, BSA, Reg DD) and account ownerships.
  • Branch or operations experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred
