Description
Who We Are
Cognosos leads the market in delivering real-time asset location and tracking intelligence solutions. Our lightweight, flexible, and scalable platform deploys quickly indoors and outdoors, delivering an unparalleled combination of price and performance across various industries, including automotive, logistics, and healthcare. Join our dynamic team as we accelerate our momentum in our current markets and prepare to launch into our next ones. We have been named one of Atlanta's Top Places to Work by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Learn more about Cognosos' mission to equip enterprises with instant asset intelligence that unlocks operational potential and optimizes performance at www.cognosos.com.
The Opportunity
Cognosos is looking for an enterprise-level Project Manager - an organizational powerhouse who thrives on the scale, complexity, and detail-focused-necessity of launching critical RTLS and supply chain visibility networks for global OEMs and manufacturers.
In this role, you will hold foundational ownership over our most critical cornerstone deployments, including our anchor accounts. You will own the pivotal threshold where Sales hands off to Customer Success, standing as the gatekeeper of customer clarity, timeline integrity, and baseline expectations. If you love taking complex operational moving pieces and transforming them into streamlined, paint-by-numbers deployment playbooks, this opportunity is built for you.
What Success Looks Like
  • Absolute Project Ownership: You don't just coordinate timelines; you own the total success of our deployments from initial handoff to live tracking validation.
  • Playbook Standardization: You actively dissect project friction points, turning successful, complex rollouts into repeatable, documented playbooks that allow Cognosos to scale effortlessly.
  • Flawless Hand-Offs: You bridge the pre-sales and post-sales worlds, ensuring that what was promised by Sales is flawlessly translated into actionable engineering and operations tasks that completely align with customer expectations.
  • Tactical Excellence: You manage customer communications and guardrails expertly, ensuring every external and internal milestone hits the mark precisely while managing up to internal stakeholders when bottlenecks arise.

What You'll Do
  • Directly manage enterprise-level hardware and software deployments, heavily focusing on executing anchor rollouts and growth initiatives with clinical precision.
  • Standardize and execute the foundational sales-to-CS handoff blueprint, verifying technical scope, coverage zone requirements, and operational readiness before deployments kick off.
  • Own the front lines of customer deployment communication, setting rock-solid expectations, navigating site constraints, and keeping external client stakeholders fully accountable.
  • Author clear, comprehensive project documentation, deployment playbooks, and standardized templates to consistently optimize time-to-value.
  • Deploy tactical cross-functional management, executing projects and providing leadership with immediate, high-integrity visibility into timelines, risks, and proactive mitigation pathways.
  • Leverage polite persistence to drive momentum across cross-functional internal resource groups (Engineering, Product, Supply Chain) and busy client-side contacts to keep projects strictly on schedule.

Who You Are
  • A Seasoned Operator: You have 3-7 years of direct experience as a technical or enterprise Project Manager, ideally tracking hardware-enabled SaaS, IoT systems, or complex supply chain solutions.
  • Chaos Coordinator: Chaos doesn't stress you out; it motivates you. You are naturally hyper-organized, deeply meticulous, and love diving headfirst into complex environments.
  • Intellectually Curious: You are an investigator at heart. You ask the second and third questions to truly map an account's layout, catch hidden constraints early, and streamline deployment footprints.
  • Politely Persistent: You have mastered the art of professional follow-up. You know how to unblock a bottlenecked timeline without burning bridges, whether nudging a client executive or an internal engineer.
  • Excellent Documentarian: You believe that if an execution play isn't clearly written down, it needs to be - think re-use vs re-do. You have an innate talent for clean, scannable workflow frameworks.

Why This Role?
This role places you at the epicenter of our primary growth sector. You will have the unique autonomy to refine and craft standard operating procedures for marquee global clients with the backing of a world-class commercial team.
Benefits and Perks:
  • Competitive salaries
  • Unlimited vacation so you can rest and recharge
  • Full benefits program (Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, life and disability insurance)
  • Paid parking at our Midtown Atlanta office
  • Opportunity for equity participation
  • A vibrant team culture featuring happy hours, company contests, and regular team outings.
