Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for leading complex business, operational, technology, and acquisition integration initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a strategic bridge between Applications, IT, and business leadership, ensuring successful execution of projects that improve operational efficiency, integrate new capabilities, and support organizational growth. The Project Manager (PM) drives project governance, change management, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of new practices while delivering projects on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the PM lead for strategic projects and technology initiatives, driving them from intake through implementation and closeout while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Applications/IT and departmental leaders to ensure value is delivered from technology initiatives through discovery, testing, and adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Collaborate as an Applications/IT partner with the Diligence & Integration team to successfully plan and execute acquisition integrations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while effectively prioritizing competing business and technology needs.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes and documentation for project execution, leveraging EPMO best practices to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive program integrity and stability by maintaining EPMO governance, documentation, practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships that improve organizational project delivery capabilities.
  • Work autonomously to manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from discovery and data collection to field trials, implementation planning and deployment, ensuring smooth execution across all phases.
  • Lead project meetings while preparing and maintaining clear project documentation, presentations, action logs, status reports, and executive summaries.
  • Facilitate accountability across departments by tracking action items, monitoring commitments, and ensuring task completion. 
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional team resources, resolve project conflicts, and escalate obstacles and risks to leadership when necessary.
  • Track issues and risks while ensuring resolution through probing questions; actively identify and support teams in removing obstacles, waste, and distractions that may impede project delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and executive leadership regarding project status, milestones, risks, issues, resource constraints, scope changes, dependencies, and key decisions.
  • Ensure effective organizational readiness by coordinating communication, training, and change management activities that support successful project adoption and minimize operational disruption.
  • Coordinate with vendors, third-party partners, and internal technical teams to support system implementations, integrations, migrations, and other technology-related initiatives.
  • Partner with FP&A to track project budgets, integration costs, anticipated synergies, and realization timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care

    Administration, or other related field.

  • 3+ years project management or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience in healthcare preferred
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
  • ADKAR training preferred
  • Experience working with and presenting deliverables to an executive-level leadership team
  • IT experience preferred, with an understanding of software development process, system implementations, application integrations, infrastructure environments, and the ability to effectively partner with technical teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. 
  • Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships while working in a moderately complex and matrixed team environment.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions and hold team members accountable without having positional authority. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. 
  • Possess quality presentation skills and experience in presenting complex plans and designs to executive-level leadership.
