As a Consumer Compliance Examiner, you will assess the adequacy of state member bank compliance management programs, evaluate compliance with federal consumer protection laws and regulations, and ensure banks meet the credit needs of the communities they serve while benefiting from a strong workplace culture, a competitive salary, and an excellent benefits package (learn more about what working at the KC Fed can mean for you).

What are the minimum qualifications?

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of banking industry experience related to audit or regulatory compliance

  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in applicable field, or relevant work experience.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 20-30 percent of the time.

  • Effective skills using Microsoft Office products, web-based applications, and email.

  • Ability to work out of our Kansas City, Denver, and/or Omaha office(s).

Preferred

  • Bank examiner commission from federal or state banking regulatory agency.

  • Graduate or advanced degree in business, management, accounting, finance, economics, or management information systems.

  • CRCM certification preferred. Other relevant certifications include CAMS, CERP, or other banking industry certifications.

  • Leadership experience demonstrating strong judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.

  • $96,900- $125,400(KC or OMH) $106,600- $137,900 (Denver) /Examiner

  • $127,300- $164,800(KC or OMH) $140,100- $181,300 (Denver)/Senior Examiner

  • $153,000-198,000(KC or OMH) $168,300- $217,800 (Denver) /Lead Examiner

  • Final offers aredeterminedby factors including the candidate's qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.

ScreeningRequirements:

This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. The candidate's start date may be impacted by completion of the screening. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
