Position Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) licensed in Washington, DC, with experience in a general dentistry office. Experience assisting a dental specialist (e.g., oral surgeon, periodontist, endodontist) is a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during dental procedures
- Taking digital X-rays and intraoral images
- Sterilization and infection control protocols
- Assisting with iTero scans and impressions
- Preparing operatories before and after procedures
- Educating patients on post-treatment care
- Maintaining accurate patient records in Dentrix Ascend
- Supporting the front desk as needed
Requirements:
Active RDA license in Washington, DC
✔ Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry
✔ Experience with dental specialists (preferred but not required)
✔ Proficiency with digital X-rays and Dentrix Ascend
✔ Strong communication and organizational skills
✔ Availability to work some Saturdays
