Dentists also promote preventative measures to prevent tooth decay and other conditions that are caused by poor habits.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Dentist, and why are they important?

What does a dentist do?

A dentist is a healthcare professional who specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral health issues, including teeth, gums, and mouth. Dentists perform routine checkups, cleanings, and procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions. They also educate patients about proper oral hygiene and may offer cosmetic dental services like teeth whitening.
