Job description

Northside Radiology Associates is seeking a Breast Radiologist to join their collegial practice in Atlanta, GA. This full-time, on-site position offers the option of a partnership-track or an employed role with no call or weekends. The role involves covering hospitals and imaging centers in the metro area and surrounding communities, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostic and screening mammography, breast US, MRI, and bone density.

Practice Info

  • Northside Radiology Associates has been the provider of radiological services at Northside Hospital since 1970.
  • Northside Hospital is a large and continuously expanding hospital system in metro Atlanta covering 25 counties with five acute-care hospitals and more than 300 outpatient facilities.
  • The team consists of 70+ board-certified radiologists who are highly subspecialized.
  • The practice utilizes state-of-the-art equipment including 3D Digital Mammography, 1.5T and 3.0T MRI scanners.
  • Multi-disciplinary breast conferences are held with Surgery, Med-Onc, Rad-Onc, Nurse Navigation, and Genetics.

Responsibilities

  • Cover hospitals and imaging centers in the metro area and surrounding communities.
  • Perform diagnostic and screening mammography.
  • Perform directed breast US, MRI, and bone density.
  • Conduct a high volume of breast procedures, including pre-op localizations, US-guided, Stereotactic-guided, and MRI-guided biopsies.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $425,000-$800,000.
  • This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Very competitive compensation.

  • MD or DO.
  • Board-Certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship trained in Breast Imaging.
  • Licensure or the ability to obtain a license in GA.
