Job description

Midtown Manhattan dental practice limited to orthodontics for children and adults. This is a part-time, on-site role for an Orthodontic Assistant located in New York, NY. The Orthodontic Assistant will provide chairside assistance to orthodontist during procedures, prepare patients for treatments, take intraoral/extraoral photography and Itero scans, and assist with sterilization of instruments and equipment. Additional responsibilities include educating patients about oral hygiene and orthodontic care, managing and organizing patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Orthodontic terminology and Dental Care
  • Experience in Sterilization and maintaining a clean clinical environment
  • Skilled in Dental Assisting and providing chairside support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Organizational skills for managing patient records and appointments
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
