Job description

Dental Office Manager - Gainesville, GA

Monday-Thursday | Excellent Work-Life Balance | Leadership Opportunity

Help Build a New Dental Practice From the Ground Up

We are looking for an experienced, confident, and people-focused Dental Office Manager to help lead a growing dental practice in Gainesville, Georgia.

This is a Dental Office Manager position - and a minimum of 5 years of dental management experience is required.

Our practice is new, which means this is a unique opportunity for an experienced dental leader to help build the systems, culture, team, and community reputation from the ground up.

We need someone who can be the glue of the practice - someone who brings experience, consistency, accountability, and positive energy to the team while partnering closely with the doctor to build a successful and respected practice.

If you have spent years managing dental offices and know what it takes to build a strong team, create efficient systems, improve the patient experience, and keep a practice moving forward, we want to talk with you.

Why This Opportunity Is Different
  • Monday-Thursday schedule
  • Excellent work-life balance
  • Lead a new dental practice with the opportunity to establish the culture from day one
  • Use your 5+ years of dental management experience to build strong systems and workflows
  • Develop and strengthen a dental team
  • Partner directly with the doctor on practice growth and performance
  • Help establish the practice as a trusted part of the Gainesville community
  • Have a genuine leadership role where your experience and ideas matter
The Role: Dental Office Manager

The Dental Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the practice while serving as the primary leader and culture-builder for the team.

This person will be responsible for creating consistency, accountability, and teamwork across the practice. You will help establish expectations, develop staff, improve workflows, and ensure patients receive an exceptional experience.

We are looking for someone who can lead, coach, organize, solve problems, and build relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the entire dental office team
  • Build a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture
  • Coach, mentor, and train staff
  • Set clear expectations and follow through on accountability
  • Help resolve team challenges professionally and effectively
  • Be the "glue" that keeps the practice connected and moving forward

Dental Office Operations

  • Oversee all day-to-day dental office operations
  • Manage scheduling, patient flow, staffing, and productivity
  • Establish efficient dental office systems and workflows
  • Identify operational problems and implement solutions
  • Ensure the office is organized, efficient, and prepared each day

Patient Experience

  • Create a welcoming and professional patient experience
  • Address patient questions and concerns promptly
  • Improve patient retention and satisfaction
  • Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service

Dental Financial & Administrative Management

  • Oversee dental billing, collections, insurance, and claims
  • Monitor practice production, collections, and key performance indicators
  • Assist with financial and operational goals
  • Manage expenses and office resources
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Compliance & Dental Operations

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations
  • Manage dental supplies and inventory
  • Coordinate equipment and office needs
  • Maintain strong administrative processes and documentation

Practice Growth & Community

  • Help establish the practice's reputation in Gainesville
  • Support community outreach and relationship-building
  • Develop strategies for patient retention and practice growth
  • Help create a dental practice that patients and team members are proud to be part of
Required Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years of Dental Office Management experience
  • Proven experience managing a dental practice or dental office
  • Strong understanding of dental office operations
  • Experience with dental scheduling, billing, insurance, collections, and patient flow
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing a dental team
  • Strong understanding of dental practice KPIs and financial performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented leadership style

Dental management experience is essential. This is not a general medical office manager position.

The Leader We're Looking For

We aren't looking for someone who simply keeps the front desk running.

We are looking for a Dental Office Manager who knows how to lead.

You understand the pace and demands of a dental practice. You know how scheduling, production, collections, staffing, patient experience, and teamwork all connect.

You know how to recognize problems before they become bigger problems.

You know how to coach people, build accountability, and create a team that works together.

And most importantly, you know how to build something that lasts.

Because this is a new practice, your experience will be especially valuable. You will have the opportunity to help establish the culture and systems that will define the practice for years to come.

What We Offer
  • Monday-Thursday schedule
  • Excellent work-life balance
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision & Supplemental Life
  • Company-Provided Life Insurance
  • Paid Holidays
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
  • 401(k) Plan
  • Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Professional growth and development opportunities
  • Collaborative work environment
  • Opportunity to play a foundational leadership role in a new dental practice
Build Something Great With Us

If you have 5+ years of dental office management experience and are ready to use that experience to build a strong team, establish excellent systems, and help grow a new dental practice in Gainesville, GA, we want to hear from you.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Dental Office Manager to make a lasting impact - on the team, the practice, and the Gainesville community.

Apply today and help us build the future of this dental practice.
