Lead a High-Performing Dental Laboratory Team
Are you an experienced Dental Laboratory Manager or Senior Dental Laboratory Technician ready to lead a talented team while continuing to practice your technical craft? We are seeking an accomplished Dental Lab Manager with extensive experience in removable prosthetics, dentures, implant restorations, and laboratory operations.
This leadership position combines advanced technical expertise with team development, operational excellence, and hands-on production. If you have a passion for mentoring technicians, implementing new technologies, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes, we invite you to join our growing laboratory team.
Position Summary
The Dental Laboratory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dental laboratory while providing technical leadership, supervision, and training for laboratory technicians. This role is accountable for maintaining the highest standards of quality in denture fabrication, implementing new laboratory technologies, supporting continuous process improvement, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
The Laboratory Manager works closely with the Regional Manager of Laboratory Excellence, Chief Clinical Officer, dentists, and clinical teams to deliver exceptional removable prosthetics and implant-supported restorations while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Leadership & Operations
  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of a high-performing dental laboratory.
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and develop laboratory technicians.
  • Provide ongoing technical coaching and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven team culture.
  • Implement new laboratory products, workflows, and technologies.
  • Partner with the Regional Manager of Laboratory Excellence and ACI leadership to improve laboratory performance.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and the Chief Clinical Officer to determine the most appropriate treatment solutions on a patient-by-patient basis.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, laboratory safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Cross-train laboratory team members in multiple technical disciplines.
  • Perform additional leadership and laboratory responsibilities as assigned.

Advanced Technical Responsibilities
  • Fabricate high-quality full and partial dentures from start to finish.
  • Perform advanced denture tooth setup, wax-ups, festooning, carving, finishing, polishing, and repairs.
  • Pour and trim denture models with exceptional accuracy.
  • Fabricate implant-supported removable prosthetics and overdentures.
  • Produce full-arch hybrid restorations and implant-based restorative cases.
  • Maintain exceptional quality standards while meeting production deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot complex laboratory cases and provide technical guidance to team members.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on dental laboratory experience fabricating dentures from start to finish.
  • Minimum of 2 years of laboratory leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
  • Expert knowledge of removable prosthetics and denture fabrication.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new laboratory software and technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and exceeding performance goals.
  • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, during normal laboratory business hours.
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and laboratory safety procedures.

  • Experience with implant-supported restorations.
  • Experience fabricating full-arch hybrid restorations.
  • Experience with complete dentures and overdentures.
  • Same-day denture experience.
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology.
