Now Hiring: Traveling Periodontic Assistant- Cary, Garner, Fuquay Broad

The Traveling Periodontic Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the Periodontist in delivering high-quality patient care. This includes providing chairside assistance, maintaining operatory and inventory readiness, ensuring strict infection control, preparing instruments and materials, and helping create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly/Monthly duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Periodontist during all procedures.

  • Reinforce preventive and post-treatment care instructions to patients.

  • Seat and prepare patients for treatment while helping them feel calm and comfortable.

  • Support the patient throughout procedures by maintaining a reassuring presence.

  • Clean and disinfect operatories after each visit in accordance with infection control standards.

  • Prepare tray setups and sterilize instruments.

  • Expose digital radiographs.

  • Take preliminary impressions as needed.

  • Monitor lab cases and ensure they are ready for scheduled appointments.

  • Maintain accuracy within the lab tracking system.

  • Manage dental supply inventory and ensure operatories remain fully stocked.

  • Follow OSHA regulations and Company Safety Policies & Procedures.

  • Help promote 5-Star Google Reviews through excellent patient interactions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
