Dental Hygiene

Experience:
- Must demonstrate strong empathy/compassion with patients.
- Proficiency in dental documentation and digital imaging
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Strong understanding of infection control systems
- Excellent patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify oral health issues and recommend appropriate treatments
Duties
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update practice management software as necessary
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the cleanliness and safety of all dental equipment and instruments

Part-time $45 - $50 per hour

Must work well in our close-knit team , where everyone contributes to the success of the practice. The Dental Hygienist position requires a warm and engaging personality that puts patients at ease. Someone who sees hygiene as a partnership in overall oral health, not just a series of cleanings.
