Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside Assisting: Provide active 4-handed chairside assistance to our doctors during general, cosmetic, restorative, and oral surgery procedures.

  • Patient Comfort: Warmly greet patients, review medical histories, explain procedure steps, and ensure a calm, comfortable experience.

  • Clinical Preparation: Set up/break down treatment operatories using strict sterilization and infection control protocols.

  • Imaging & Diagnostics: Take clear digital dental radiograph (X-rays) and intraoral photos as directed by the dentist.

  • Lab & Inventory Management: Assist with clinical inventory stocking, taking dental impressions/scans, and coordinating laboratory cases.


Qualifications, Licensing & Attributes
  • Washington State Dental Assistant Registration (DA License): Active registration with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is required prior to start date.

  • BLS / CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.

  • X-Ray / Radiology Proficiency: Washington state-compliant dental radiography skills.

  • Experience: 1–2+ years of hands-on chairside Dental Assistant experience preferred (general dentistry background is a strong plus).

  • Communication: Exceptional patient communication and phone/interpersonal skills.
