What are Dental Assistant RDAs?

Dental Assistant RDAs, or Registered Dental Assistants, are dental professionals who support dentists in clinical and administrative tasks. Their duties often include preparing patients for procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, assisting during treatments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. RDAs have completed the required education and passed state or national exams to become licensed or registered, depending on the state. Their certification ensures they meet specific standards of competence and safety. Working as an RDA offers a rewarding way to help others while being a critical part of a dental care team.
