Looking for a 3-day work week with full-time benefits?

East Cobb Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced, energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing team! This position offers a Thursday through Saturday schedule (24 hours/week) while still being considered full-time, giving you an excellent work-life balance with comprehensive benefits. Pay range is $20-27 hourly, based on experience.


We're looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care, and enjoys working alongside a collaborative, technology-driven dental team.


Schedule
  • Thursday โ€“ Saturday
  • 24 hours per week
  • Full-time status with benefits
  • Additional days may be available in the future for those interested.
What You'll Do
  • Provide exceptional chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
  • Anticipate the doctor's needs and efficiently pass instruments throughout procedures.
  • Fabricate high-quality temporary crowns.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards.
  • Take dental radiographs and assist with digital workflows.
  • Educate patients and help create an outstanding patient experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to keep appointments running smoothly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience required.
  • Experience with Open Dental software preferred.
  • Experience with iTero scanners preferred.
  • Implant assisting experience preferred.
  • Clear aligner experience preferred.
  • Ability to fabricate temporary crowns.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy practice.

Requirements:

Education and Training

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
  • Valid X-ray certificate.
  • Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
  • CPR & first aid certificate.

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
