Join Our Caring Team as a Temporary Full-Time Dental Assistant at Dental Expressions in Lake Oswego, OR!

Dental Expressions is a well-established general dental practice located in scenic Lake Oswego, Oregon. Our compassionate team is committed to delivering exceptional dental care in a friendly and professional environment. We value teamwork, quality service, and continuous growth as we serve our diverse patient community. We are currently seeking a dedicated Temporary Dental Assistant to support our practice during a valued team member’s maternity leave.
This temporary, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive dental team from October 1st through March. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding dental assisting services, contribute to a positive patient experience, and ensure smooth clinical operations under the guidance of Dr. Sheppard.

Assist Dr. Sheppard in providing comprehensive patient care during dental procedures
Take diagnostic radiographs in compliance with safety and clinical standards
Sterilize and prepare dental instruments between procedures
Breakdown and set up operatories efficiently to maintain a smooth workflow
Collaborate effectively as a team player to deliver consistent, high quality patient care
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and data security

Salary Range

Full-time $25 - $30 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Basic life support
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

1-2 years of dental assistant experience in a clinical setting
Valid CPR Certification
Knowledge and practical experience in dental assisting duties including radiography and sterilization protocols
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Preferences
  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
  • Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)

EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) Certification is highly desirable
Entry-level dental assistants with relevant training and certifications are welcome to apply
