Job Description Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Denodo Developer to design, build, and support enterprise virtual data integration solutions. In this role, you will leverage the Denodo platform to create scalable data services, improve query performance, and enable efficient access to data across multiple sources. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SQL development, data engineering, and data virtualization, with hands-on experience optimizing complex queries and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities Data Virtualization & Development Design, develop, and maintain Denodo virtual data solutions, including: Base Views Derived Views Integration Views Summary Views Develop SQL and VQL queries to support data integration, transformation, and reporting requirements. Build virtual data services that provide reliable access to enterprise data across multiple platforms. Performance Optimization Analyze and optimize complex SQL and Denodo queries to improve overall performance.

Partner with development and business teams to identify and resolve long-running queries. Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues while recommending scalable solutions. Platform Support & Monitoring Develop and enhance monitoring dashboards and reporting views for the Denodo environment.

Support the stability, health, and performance of the Denodo platform through proactive monitoring. Assist with ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement virtual data integration solutions.

Produce clear functional and technical documentation for new and existing data services. Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within a team environment. Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in SQL development working with OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data environments.

4+ years of experience in a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or SQL Developer role. At least 2 years of experience developing with the Denodo platform. 2+ years of experience writing medium to complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

Experience optimizing SQL queries and improving application performance. Experience developing and supporting REST and SOAP API-based data services. Experience investigating and resolving data quality and performance issues.

Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling. Solid knowledge of data integrity concepts and best practices. Experience working within Agile development teams.

Familiarity with Jira or similar work management/ticketing tools. Experience using GitLab or other source code version control platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently while contributing effectively to a team. Preferred Qualifications The following experience is considered a plus: Exposure to ETL platforms such as Informatica or Ab Initio. Python development experience.

Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or MongoDB. PostgreSQL experience.
