About the Opportunity

We’re representing a respected Texas-based demolition contractor with a strong footprint across Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. The company specializes in selective interior, structural, and site demolition, known for tackling complex and technically challenging projects in the commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors.

The Austin office is seeking a skilled Demolition Estimator to lead preconstruction and estimating efforts as the market continues to expand.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage preconstruction and estimating for selective and structural demolition projects

  • Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare detailed scopes and cost estimates

  • Develop and submit competitive bids, proposals, and budgets

  • Engage directly with GCs, developers, and facility owners to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships

  • Coordinate with operations and field teams for smooth project handoff and execution

  • Represent the company at pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and networking events


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in demolition or general contracting

  • Strong ability to read blueprints and translate specifications into takeoffs and cost models

  • Experience with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing the Austin market
