The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns โ€“ both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members โ€“ with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority.


Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle.


Position Summary:

The DCCC is seeking Field Organizers to work on competitive congressional races in our targeted races. Field Organizers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to expand the volunteer network for the campaign and execute a variety of voter contact tactics meant to turn out voters for Democratic candidates.


This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, managing, and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact, including but not limited to door-to-door canvassing, high traffic canvassing, voter registration, and relational organizing
  • Executing a broad range of visibility events to educate voters about the election and excite potential volunteers to join the campaign
  • Successfully meeting daily, weekly and phase goals for capacity building and voter contact in your assigned district, as well as maintaining data integrity
  • Developing strong relationships with local party leaders, grassroots organizers, and key activists
  • Act as a point of contract for DCCC in-district offices
  • Other department responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
  • No previous experience is required
  • Ability to live and work in-person within the assigned congressional district through November 2026
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure and problem solve effectively and creatively
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean record and access to a vehicle is required
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence โ€”the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant, and productive ways
