Email And SMS Manager

Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) seeks to hire an Email and SMS Manager to execute DAGA's email and SMS fundraising program.

Location: Washington, DC

Salary: $72,000-$80,000 (Yearly)

Healthcare: Employer-sponsored health insurance offered

Reports To: Deputy Director of Digital Fundraising

Salary Range: $72,000-$80,000

Purpose: The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) seeks to hire an Email and SMS Manager to execute DAGA's email and SMS fundraising program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Deputy Director of Digital Fundraising and DAGA's consultants to develop and execute a best-in-class email and SMS fundraising program
  • Conceptualize and pitch innovative, data-driven email and SMS campaigns that drive revenue and engagement
  • Write, edit, and produce compelling, high-performing fundraising emails and text messages from concept through deployment
  • Manage DAGA's integrated email and SMS content calendar, ensuring strategic alignment with fundraising goals and organizational priorities
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies to maximize online fundraising opportunities through list growth, segmentation, automation, testing, and optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance and deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights to inform strategy and improve results
  • Support additional digital fundraising initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of experience working in email fundraising in the progressive space (at agencies, committees, non-profits, or progressive organizations)
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Experience writing and producing fundraising emails
  • Experience with CRMs (such as NGP, Action Kit, or Action Network)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to DAGA's mission

Details:

  • Ideally in DC or willing to relocate. Remote employees will be considered.
  • DAGA's office is open 9 AM โ€“ 6 PM Eastern, but extended and nontraditional work hours are required.
  • DAGA offices are in downtown DC.
  • DAGA will work with potential candidates to schedule remote interviews and process onboarding procedures remotely, as necessary.
