Job description

Provide support in designing, developing and implementing SharePoint sites and workflows for management and technical staff. The contractor will serve as site administrator/developer and collaborate Management and Operations with the Project Managers, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and business office subject matter experts on a variety of projects.

  • Design, analyze, develop, and maintain key components of  Office 365 
  • Participate in requirements analysis and develop solutions for all tiers of the application: user interface, middle-tier business components, database layer, etc.
  • Create and maintain Office 365 solutions 
  • Create functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, and demo solutions to key stakeholders
  • Establish and help maintain end user access policy and permissions
  • Provide ongoing support for Office 365 related issues/inquiries
  • Create, plan and execute end-user Office 365 training sessions for staff 
  • Collaborate with Senior SharePoint Developers, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and business office subject matter experts on a variety of projects
  • Will provide oversight of the SharePoint Developer duties


Lead Job Duties include: 

Develops software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs; conferring with stakeholders and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. Development task may involve workflows and a variety of tools within Office 365.  Perform maintenance for administration and security issues, such as granting or denying permission to solutions.
In collaboration with the lead SharePoint Developer, perform duties in a helpdesk function to assist personnel with Office 365 issues.

Extend and/or improve the functioning of current branch and team workflows within SharePoint, and ensure that security as it applies to informatics is applied in the process, including: Maintain and organize existing security groups – (continue progress in the design and development)

  • Work with branch technical and management staff on extending functionality of current solutions.
  • Create functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, and demo solutions to key stakeholders
  • Establish and help maintain end user access policy and permissions
  • Provide ongoing support for SharePoint related issues/inquiries
  • Participate in ongoing training to maintain certification and skills in SharePoint programming
  • Create, plan and execute end-user Office 365 training sessions for  staff
  • Project management role in analyzing, process improvement, networking, and return on investment

(ROI) and ensuring development fits needs
Collaborates with the lead SharePoint Developer for training and deployment of Office 365 solutions.
