Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented **Water Demo Technician** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining water demonstration equipment for customers, trade shows, events, and site installations. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with water systems while providing excellent customer service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Setup & Installation - Safely assemble, configure, and install water demonstration systems at various locations
  • Explain water system features, benefits, and functionality to customers in a clear and engaging manner
  • Operate water demo equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure customer safety during demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, setup details, and any maintenance performed
  • Prepare and clean demonstration areas before and after customer visits
  • Answer questions from customers and provide technical guidance related to water systems
  • Transport equipment and travel to various job sites as needed (local/regional)
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75+ lbs occasionally
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience with water systems, plumbing, or related technical fields
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or demonstration roles
  • Knowledge of water treatment, filtration, or purification systems
  • Certification in relevant technical areas
  • Experience with power tools and equipment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional extended hours during peak seasons
