As a Sr Demand Planner here at Honeywell, you will be managing demand and asset planning in a manufacturing environment for Honeywell's Business Unit. You will be a key driver of demand and asset planning within our vibrant manufacturing environment. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the development of a high-quality Demand forecast critical for Supply Planning and Financial Forecasting.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Any Degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Min 5+ years of experience in Demand /Operations Production planning/materials management or Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional areas.
  • Experience with a Demand Planning tool (e.g. RapidResponse, SAP APO module)
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner

  • Bachelor/Master's in business administration, accounting, operations management, marketing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems
  • APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification preferred

  • Developing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
  • Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances
  • Interacting with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers
  • Providing input to the supply planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
