The opportunity

We're looking for a forward-thinking Account Director to join our Growth team and lead the strategic expansion of key client partnerships. In this role, you'll own a book of business and be accountable for meeting and exceeding revenue goals by developing consultative, insight-driven plans that align TechnologyAdvice's marketing solutions to each client's objectives. You'll drive retention and upsell through proactive relationship management, performance analysis, and clear ROI storytelling—serving as a trusted advisor who spots opportunities early, builds long-term value, and helps clients grow faster through our full portfolio of programs.

What you'll do
  • Engage senior decision-makers across executive, sales, marketing, and operations teams to recommend and drive adoption of TechnologyAdvice's marketing solutions.
  • Proactively generate new revenue opportunities through cold outreach, personal network development, outbound events, and social selling across relevant platforms.
  • Build a deep client understanding of their products, partner ecosystems, and ideal customer profiles to align solutions with business goals.
  • Create and execute targeted sales and business development initiatives that expand pipeline and accelerate deal flow.
  • Conduct ongoing market and account research to uncover needs, identify selling opportunities, and stay ahead of customer priorities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to relationship-building, proposal development, and solution presentation.
  • Develop and deliver compelling value propositions and accurate proposals, setting clear expectations and positioning TA offerings effectively.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals by confidently addressing objections, leveraging TA enablement resources, and representing the company at conferences and client meetings.

  • Demonstrated success selling demand generation services and digital lead generation programs that drive measurable growth.
  • Experienced in selling complex, multi-stakeholder and multi-partner campaigns, navigating longer and consultative sales cycles.
  • Fluent in current marketing trends, strategies, and tactics, able to engage confidently with senior marketing leaders.
  • Skilled at delivering polished product and solution demos to both live and virtual audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the evolving digital media, demand generation, and IT/technology landscapes.
  • Excellent communicator and presenter with sharp attention to forecasting, pipeline management, negotiation, and team collaboration—resilient and motivated by results.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range:
$75,000—$100,000 USD
Total annual compensation including commission up to:
$150,000—$200,000 USD
