HiFyve is hiring an Operations Engineer in the Chemical Manufacturing industry in Middletown, OH!


Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 + bonus & benefits

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Middletown, OH


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support daily plant operations and production performance.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues alongside operators.
  • Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Support PSM and maintain a strong safety culture.
  • Partner with maintenance and engineering on reliability and capital projects.
  • Improve production efficiency and standard operating procedures.


Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5-10+ years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience in a chemical plant.
  • Required experience with Chemithon and Sulfonation/Sulfation processes.
  • Hands-on plant floor experience (not lab, pilot plant, or project-only).
  • PSM experience required.
  • DeltaV or other DCS experience is a plus.
