Your Role at Delta Faucet
Are you passionate about shaping the development and execution of sophisticated water filtration technologies? Do you enjoy leading engineering teams, mentoring technical talent, and leading the full development cycle from concept through commercialization? Delta Faucet Company is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead multi-functional product development initiatives for filtration media, cartridges, and other filtration product! You will collaborate with internal partners across Product Management, Quality, Compliance, Operations, and Manufacturing to deliver high-performance, standards-compliant, consumer-focused water filtration solutions. This role reports directly to the Director of NPD Engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design coordination, development, and integration of new water filtration products (media, cartridges, filtration systems)
  • Own product and system requirements, including NSF/ANSI, EPA drinking water standards, and internal performance targets
  • Direct filtration media R&D (activated carbon, ion exchange, membranes, composite blends) and guide simulation, prototyping, and validation testing
  • Support development of evolutionary and mature filtration technology roadmaps, new media innovations, and platform strategies applying industry trends and technical advancements
  • Coordinate engineering builds, pilot runs, first-article evaluations, and PPAP-style verification, following structured NPD gate processes
  • Establish and validate system-level requirements using DVP&R, lab testing, accelerated aging, and contaminant-removal performance evaluations
  • Lead multi-functional engineering teams and mentor associate engineers, subsystem engineers, and co-ops as needed
  • Conduct design risk assessments (DFMEA, systems FMEA, etc.) owning specifications and design tradeoffs
  • Drive technical issue resolution on complex filtration or performance-related problems, including root-cause discovery and corrective action
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Compliance, Architecture, Water Quality, Operations, and external suppliers to enable seamless transition to production and alignment with Platform and Product roadmaps.
  • Present technical findings, tradeoff decisions, and program risks to senior leadership in a clear, concise manner
  • Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Materials Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of product development experience with concentration in the execution of water filtration systems, or similar experience
  • Experience with filtration media development and water-treatment technologies including activated carbon, ion exchange, and membranes
  • Previous experience in a system engineering practitioner, or product engineering role with knowledge of systems engineering tools, techniques, and standard methodologies
  • Outstanding soft skills with excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, able to collaborate, interact, and influence business and technical partners and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills along with the ability to simplify complex problems
  • Experience with engineering modeling software CAD software (preferably Creo) and FEA
  • Ability to lead multiple concurrent assignments
  • Experience with design for manufacturability, cost estimation, GD&T, Systems DFMEA, PPAP and design verification and validation
