Process Control Engineer - Elevate Your Career in Petrochemical Excellence

What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Strong proficiency with Foxboro IA (Invensys) and Delta V control systems.
  • Solid experience in process controls and operations engineering within petrochemical or refining facilities (minimum of 5 years).
  • Hands-on knowledge of control application, continuous controls, batch processes, and control network management.
  • Expertise in developing, modifying, and tuning control strategies for optimal unit performance.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, process hazard analysis, LOPA studies, and safety instrumented systems support.
  • Familiarity with PLCs such as Triconex, GE Fanuc, or Mark V/VII is a plus.
  • Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office, and internet tools for seamless communication and data management.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with advanced control strategies, multi-variable controllers, and control system FAT testing.
  • Ability to lead alarm management review meetings and rationalize alarm settings to achieve KPI targets.
  • Knowledge of PSM Management of Change procedures, PHA, and incident investigation processes.
  • Control application experience in both continuous and batch processes.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • B.S. in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant process controls and operations experience in a petrochemical or refining setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Willingness to work a Monday-Friday schedule, with potential for overtime or extra hours as needed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and participate actively in safety and environmental initiatives.
  • Regular presence on-site is essential to perform duties effectively.
