Job description

The time to make a change is now. Step forward into a new job at Delta Faucet! There are a few new roles posted on our roster for Production Members & Machine Operators for our SECOND shift operations. Work schedule is 2:45pm - 11:15pm + Saturdays often required. Our team members enjoy a full benefit package, including paid vacation days within 60 days from hire.
The Delta-Lapeer facility manufactures plastic bath tubs, shower bases and coordinating wall units. It's really cool to pop into a store and see a product that you made on the shelf ready to make someone's home a showcase. Our products are in high demand, and we are ready to hit a home run, but we need your help....
Essential job functions include but are not limited to:
  • Lift, carry and place parts on trim fixture
  • Use hand tools to smooth rough edges
  • Make pass/fail quality decisions based on quality standards
  • Prep boxes with labels and instructions
  • Lift, carry and place finished parts on the box
  • Close and staple the box using air powered staple gun
  • Stack completed boxes on the pallet and prep for stretch wrap
  • Follow standardized work to meet production and quality expectations
  • Participate in team environment with 2 - 5 team members in the area

Physical Requirements of position:
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs. Occasionally work with pushing weights of up to 40lbs.
  • Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
  • Able to stand and walk for periods of up to 8 hours, with breaks.
  • Able to visually inspect parts for defects.
