Job description

Tri Delta is seeking a Digital Media Specialist to deploy digital content for Tri Delta’s website, email marketing and texting platforms while regularly reporting on marketing efforts to ensure strategic, data-driven decisions guide our work. This individual will also contribute to the ongoing maintenance, organization, planning and upkeep of all digital platforms. The role will collaborate closely with the Brand Support Manager, Digital role and Tri Delta’s entire Brand Advancement team, including the content development team, but will not be creating content directly.  

The ideal candidate will combine their proven technical proficiency with data analytic tools and digital marketing platforms with their passion to support mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Digital Analytics & Reporting: 

  • Collaborate with the Brand Support Manager - Digital, to monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of Tri Delta’s digital communication channels, including website, email, SMS, social media, podcast, and paid media initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with the Brand Advancement team to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify audience trends, and optimize communication strategies based on data-driven insights. 

  • Maintain knowledge of emerging digital marketing trends, platform updates, and analytics best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Email, SMS & Web Communications: 

  • Collaborate on the execution of Tri Delta’s email and SMS communications and campaigns. 

  • Ensure communications are delivered accurately, on schedule, and in alignment with Tri Delta’s brand standards and communication strategy. 

  • Provide support in the creation and delivery of regularly scheduled email communications to target audiences. 

  • Assist in the management of the account engagement email system, including monitoring prospect limits, custom fields, campaigns, forms, reporting, and communication preferences. 

Website & Content Management: 

  • In partnership with the Brand Support Manager – Digital, maintain and update content across Tri Delta’s website and chapter websites to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational priorities. 

  • Monitor website performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve user experience and content effectiveness. 

  • Edit photos (resize, recolor, etc.) for website and email communications as needed. 

  • Support chapter sites by answering member questions and maintaining site content. 

  • Assist in maintaining accurate member records to optimize communication efforts. 

Paid Media: 

  • Assist in the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and other relevant channels. 

  • Support audience development, campaign targeting, budget allocation, and performance monitoring to maximize campaign effectiveness. 

  • Analyze paid media results and provide recommendations to improve campaign performance and return on investment. 

Social Media Analytics: 

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance across organizational and chapter channels. 

  • Develop reporting and recommendations that inform content strategy, audience engagement efforts, member engagement, and overall social media performance. 

  • Identify emerging trends, audience behaviors, and opportunities to enhance digital engagement. 

Podcast Production & Reporting: 

  • Support the publishing, distribution, promotion, and ongoing management of Tri Delta podcast content. 

  • Track podcast performance metrics and audience engagement, providing quarterly reporting and recommendations for growth and optimization. 

Project & Event Support: 

  • Strategize communications in partnership with the Brand Support Manager - Digital, and Brand Advancement team to ensure a well-rounded communication approach. 

  • Keep the marketing and communications team informed of the communications calendar and any potential roadblocks. 

  • Assist in the execution of event applications. 

  • Help with additional enterprise and departmental projects/committees as needed.

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Skills 

  • Digital Strategy & Analytics: Ability to analyze and interpret digital marketing and communication data across multiple channels. Familiarity using analytics and reporting tools to measure performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), audience engagement metrics, conversion tracking, and data-driven decision-making. 

  • Email, SMS & App Communications: Experience executing campaigns through marketing automation platforms (e.g. Pardot, EventMobi, Mogli, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or similar tools). Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand consistency. Understanding of email & SMS campaign management, segmentation, and performance tracking. 

  • Website & Content Management:  Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal); Basic photo editing skills (e.g., resizing, recoloring) using tools like Photoshop or Canva; Ability to maintain and update web content in alignment with brand standards. 

  • Paid Media: Familiarity with planning, executing, and evaluating paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads. Understanding of audience targeting, campaign objectives, budget management, performance reporting, and optimization strategies. Ability to leverage campaign insights to improve results and support organizational goals. 

  • Podcast Production & Reporting: Ability to support podcast publishing, distribution, and promotion efforts while ensuring content is delivered accurately and on schedule. Experience tracking podcast performance metrics, analyzing audience engagement, and providing recommendations to improve reach and listener experience. 

  • Project & Event Support: Strong organizational and time management skills; Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; Demonstrates attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work cross-functionally. 

Experience 

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital communications, marketing, or a related field. 

  • Experience managing or supporting email campaigns, website content, and paid media. 

  • Experience working with analytics and reporting tools to inform strategy. 

  • Prior experience in a nonprofit, higher education, or membership-based organization is a plus.
