Requirements and Description
ERMC Aviation, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician to develop and execute departmental and distribution goals, lead other service technicians, design solutions for difficult problems, manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet timelines.
Qualifications:
โ€ข At least 5 years working in facility maintenance
โ€ข A good working knowledge of energy management systems.
โ€ข The ability to troubleshoot HVAC and other mechanical systems and components.
โ€ข Experience with both pneumatic and DDC control systems.
โ€ข Experience maintaining and repairing a variety of HVAC equipment.
โ€ข The knowledge of, and ability to, maintain plumbing systems.
โ€ข The ability to work with hand tools.
โ€ข The ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
โ€ข The ability to climb ladders and work safely upon them.
โ€ข The ability to lift 70 Lbs.
โ€ข A good working knowledge of computers and common software, i.e., Microsoft Excel and Word.
โ€ข Strong oral and written communication skills.
โ€ข Ability to work 8-hour shifts and the flexibility to adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights, as needed by the company.
โ€ข The ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
โ€ข HVAC or EPA 608 Certification
โ€ข Must have a current valid driver's license and CFC Certification.
Standard qualifications:
โ€ข Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
โ€ข Must possess a Government ID and social security card.
โ€ข Must be able to obtain and keep an airport security badge.
โ€ข Must have or be able to attain reliable transportation.
โ€ข Able to work in extreme conditions, such as hot and cold weather, as well as small spaces
โ€ข Able to receive appropriate security clearances after completing a criminal background check.
โ€ข Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
โ€ข Must be able to work extended hours depending on operational needs.
โ€ข Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
