What will your typical day look like?

The Deloitte Global Culture & Enablement team works to deliver a cohesive communications strategy and narrative to build connection to the Deloitte Global purpose, priorities, and performance​. This includes increasing employee awareness, understanding, performance, and engagement​; providing guidance to leaders on internal and external eminence strategy; and fostering alignment across the ~10,000 Deloitte Global professionals by sharing the right messages with the right audiences at the right time. The team delivers services that encompass strategic business communications, engagement, executive communications, and Global programs and change management initiatives.

  • Write, edit, and disseminate communications to a diverse audience of global professionals, on behalf of leadership across the Deloitte Global Businesses/Functions.
  • Contribute to and support the implementation of internal communication plans and strategies.
  • Support live, virtual events with pre- and post-event communications, talking points, presentations and logistics.
  • Build/refresh recurring content templates (newsletters, announcements, toolkits) to improve speed and consistency.
  • Proofread/copyedit for clarity, tone, brand voice, accessibility, and style-guide and risk compliance.
    • Track progress of communications campaigns through monthly and quarterly metrics reporting.
  • Ensure communications deliverables are of the highest quality and adhere to Global standards.
  • Delivering high-quality messages at all levels of Global to engage, inform, and drive desired cultural outcomes.
  • Writing and editing communications, key messages, and/or talking points as assigned.
  • Supporting Communications COE team members on individual internal client work.
  • Maintaining communications plans and managing projects as needed.

We provide top-notch, leading-edge thinking and advisory support and partner with our businesses to ensure our professionals develop the right skills and talents to deliver on ambitious priorities.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
  • Journalism background preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in communicating across various types of media
  • Strong interpersonal skills—experience with C-suite leaders preferred
  • Experience with crafting communications in alignment with strategy
  • Experience managing and maintaining a communications plan
  • Experience creating speaking points and messaging for executive-level leaders preferred

Skills & Certifications 

  • Technical: 
    • MS0365; SharePoint
    • Knowledge of AP and/or Chicago style preferred
  • Professional:
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to write for a business audience
    • Commitment to effective cross-cultural, inclusive mindset and behaviors

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
