Job description

Job Summary:
Deloitte Global is the engine of the Deloitte network, delivering strategic programs and services. The Cloud Engineer (Azure) will design, develop, and implement cloud platform solutions that align with business needs, requiring deep Azure expertise and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Develop Cloud Solutions: Create and prototype API specifications to automate provisioning, controls, compliance, and delivery of secure cloud platform services.
• Architectural Leadership: Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for Azure-based cloud platform solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with development, operations, and business teams to streamline application lifecycle processes through automation and custom cloud solutions.
• DevOps Enablement: Lead the adoption of DevOps practices, tools, and processes to establish fully automated build/release pipelines and ensure stability and consistency.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve automation and cloud platform issues to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure, including console management and scripting (az cli, Powershell).
• Mandatory certification in Azure cloud technologies.
• Advanced skills in scripting languages (az cli, Powershell) to support automation and development.
• Proficiency with continuous integration tools (e.g., Github actions, Azure DevOps) and code management tools (e.g., GitHub, BitBucket).
• Intermediate proficiency in backend API design and development, especially using C# .NET.
Preferred:
• Familiarity with Agile development practices, with SAFe, Agile, or Scrum certifications preferred.
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, CIS, NIST).
• Proficiency with traditional and no-sql database operations and queries (e.g., MS SQL Server, MongoDB).
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate DevOps practices and lead the establishment of tooling and processes for automation.
