Job description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Houston, Texas.
Work You'll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to address human resources and other business needs, utilizing Oracle products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant Oracle tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Drive various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for Oracle implementation, which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) Extracts, Business Intelligence (BI) Publisher Reports, Fast Formula Functions, Atlassian Jira, Structured Query Language (SQL), PL/SQL, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Integrations to drive software development and implementation services;
• Utilizing Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies to gather and configure Oracle system requirements into functional design;
• Driving the design, configuration, testing, and support of Oracle Payroll, Talent Management, and Oracle Core HR to develop technical objects, including module and reports;
• Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
• Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Documents (FDD) for various Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Form (RICEF) objects;
• Performing product life cycle management design and development using Oracle Payroll, Talent Management, and Core HR; and
• Building and developing software integration production and developing software modules using OIC.
