Job description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in Detroit, Michigan.
Work You'll Do
Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps using SAP iDocs, SAP Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), SAP Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW), and SAP Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit (LTMC);
  • Driving the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging SAP Finance (FI), Project Systems (PS), and Investment Management (IM) modules and SAP S/4HANA On-Premise and Cloud Platforms;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, utilizing ARIS IndustryPrint, Blue Prism, Microsoft (MS) Visio, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
  • Working across phases of the Accelerated SAP (ASAP) and SAP Activate, Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, and Hybrid Agile methodologies including Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run phases for the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP FI, PS, and IM modules;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, MS SharePoint, Agile Manager, and Atlassian Jira;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP FI, PS, and IM;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions using SAP FI, PS, and IM; and
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans and configuration documents, utilizing SAP FI, PS, and IM to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP FI, PS, and IM projects.
