Service Delivery Engineer 2, Service Delivery

Service Delivery is all about making sure our technical solutions help clients fulfil their priorities, challenges and initiatives. As trusted advisors, we build in-depth knowledge of what each client wants to achieve. Then we make sure the services delivered by Dell Technologies deliver on all our promises. We also work closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues to develop strategic account growth plans, and to identify and pursue sales opportunities.
What you'll achieve:
As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will execute implementation tasks, maintain runbooks, and assist in root-cause analyses. You will collaborate with peers and stakeholders to meet milestones.

Responsibilities
You will:
  • Perform specific delivery support activities for a single customer.
  • Assist in coordinating development and consolidation of technical and process documentation.
  • Train new team members on products, operational support, and best practices.
  • Serve as On-site Point-of-Contact for all issues affecting Dell's technical environment.
  • Focus on activities like data analytics and reporting.
  • Facilitate analyzing specific issues with the customer.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support 24x7 data center operations, responding to critical hardware, infrastructure, and service-impacting incidents outside of normal business hours.
  • Partner with Dell Team(s) to provide an outstanding experience to the customer

Essential Requirements
    • Leadership experience and ability to work independently.
    • 2+ years of data center experience.
    • Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to meet physical and security requirements, including forklift certification, lifting up to 50 lbs, and obtaining a Secret Clearance.

Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • AWS/Azure Fundamentals; ITIL Foundation; basic scripting proficiency.

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $69,700 to 90,200
