Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Duties
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize time and fuel efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for efficient travel.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Capability of heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during deliveries.
  • Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
