WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Service Driver, you’ll support the service teams by safely transporting CDL trucks, maintaining the lot, and ensuring vehicles meet Hunter Truck’s standards of safety and quality. You will:

➤ Deliver and/or pick up trucks from other locations, shops, customers, and vendors
➤ Complete logbook documentation for accurate record keeping
➤ Perform road tests for service department vehicles
➤ Conduct quality control checks after repairs are completed
➤ Complete monthly facility inspections for the Safety Department
➤ Maintain the parking lot, including cleaning, snow removal, and general upkeep
➤ Be available for early morning or weekend snow removal and salting during winter months
➤ Perform daily cleaning duties throughout the shop
➤ Pick up and deliver parts as needed
➤ Drive across county and state lines as required
➤ Perform any additional tasks necessary to daily operations as directed by the manager
➤ Adhere to and promote all workplace health and safety policies

WHAT YOU BRING

◆ Education & Experience: Five years of related experience required.

◆ Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards. Valid CDL and medical card required; must meet company insurability standards

◆ Physical Requirements: Regularly sit, stand, and walk. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
