NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated delivery route within our established Fort Wayne, IN operation. This is a consistent, revenue generating opportunity requiring an SUV or larger vehicle. We believe every delivery is more than just a drop off-it's an opportunity to make someone's day.
Your Mission
  • Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
  • Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
Route Details & Schedule (Fort Wayne Area)
  • Compensation: $160 per day (Average weekly commission: $480).
  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Start/End Time: 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Headquarters).
  • Required Vehicle: SUV or larger.
  • Weekly Mileage: Approximately 120 miles per route.
  • Daily Stops: Approximately 10.
  • Geographical Area: Fort Wayne, Warsaw, Goshen, Elkhart, South Bend, Mishawaka, and Granger.
  • Sorting: Minimal.

Requirements
Vehicle Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess an SUV or larger vehicle.
  • The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.

To maintain our industry leading fleet of professional drivers, you must meet the following:
  • Age: Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Vehicle: Own a vehicle that can pass a multi point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
  • Smartphone: Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
  • Licensing & Insurance: Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
  • Pre Employment Screening: You must successfully pass a comprehensive pre employment process before beginning work, which includes:
    • Driving History Review (past 36 months)
    • Criminal Background Check
    • Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.
