As a Leave Partner, you will be responsible for serving as a trusted HR partner responsible for the administration, coordination, and compliance of employee leave programs. This role ensures exceptional employee experience while maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local leave laws and company policies. The Leave Partner collaborates closely with employees, managers, HR Business Partners, payroll, benefits vendors, and third-party administrators to deliver accurate, timely, and compassionate leave support. Critical for success will be the ability to embody the corporate culture in all interactions and demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer service. The anticipated salary range is $87,000 - $113,000 per year. This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, preference to HR, 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with significant focus on leave of absence administration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills. Must present a professional, positive image at all times
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification (Desired)
  • Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment. (Desired)
