Job Overview

We are seeking a Packer - Technician II to support our Production site in Hollister, CA. As the Packer, you will accurately pack supplies and load products for external customer delivery in strict accordance with established safety and quality protocols. This role provides critical logistics support to production areas, ensuring the integrity of materials entering sensitive environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Pack and ship containers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and verify all shipments against appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain precise records and complete all required paperwork related to inventory, packing, and shipping activities.
  • Safely unload delivery trucks and stage packages in designated inventory locations.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport supplies and packages efficiently throughout the facility.
  • Stock production areas with necessary materials, ensuring all items introduced into animal production zones strictly adhere to sterilization and entry SOPs.
  • Perform essential support services, including materials delivery, housekeeping, and the rigorous sanitization of work environments.
  • Maintain live traps and complete all necessary regulatory reporting.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned to ensure operational facility excellence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year of experience in Warehouse or stockroom experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a regulated laboratory or life sciences environment.
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • The employee is required to wear respiratory protection (e.g., N95 respirator or Powered Air-Purifying Respirator - PAPR) throughout the workday when in specific biocontainment areas.
  • The employee must pass an annual medical examination to confirm they are physically able to perform duties while wearing a respirator, as mandated by OSHA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 / hour.
