Job description

Midland Transport Limitedis currently seeking professional AZ Linehaul Truck Drivers - US Triangle. The Driver can be based out of any major city in Ontario.

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service. 

Schedule: Runt starts on Saturday, takes around 5 days to complete.

    Education Required: High School or GED. 
    AZ driver's license with a minimum of 4 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
    Clean driver's abstract and criminal search. 
    Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
    Eligibility to cross the border with US.
    Familiarity with satellite systems.
    Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability. 
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
    Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
    Safety conscious. 
    Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
 

  • Running Linehaul from Ontario to the Maritimes into United States eastern seaboard, and then back to Ontario. 
  • Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
  • Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage. 
  • Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
  • Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws. 
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
  • Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to work linehaul legs into the United States, including New York and New Jersey.
