Mountain West Medical Center is nestled at the base of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele, Utah. This award-winning healthcare facility and clinics has expert staff serving the largest county in Utah. We diligently pursue our mission to be the health resource of choice for the community and provide a place where doctors want to practice, people want to work, and the community wants to come for healthcare services.

Currently we are looking to fill the vital role of Registered Nurse.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Musthold current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah or equivalency. *If licensed in a compact state and residing in Utah a Utah State License must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • BLS Certification is required within 30 daysof hire.
  • ALS & NRP certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of experience and familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of an OB/L&D RN preferred.
  • STABLE certification preferred.
