Position Summary

Junior Achievement USA (JA USA) is seeking a Manager, Experiential Learning Center Implementation to support the successful launch and expansion of Experiential Learning Centers (ELCs) across the JA network. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing assigned implementation activities, ensuring local JA Areas are equipped to execute ELC launches in alignment with national standards, timelines, and operational expectations.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, ELC Readiness, Expansion, and Sustainability, the Manager serves as a key implementation partner for JA Areas, providing hands-on support, operational guidance, and implementation coordination throughout the ELC deployment process. This role plays an important function in reducing launch risk, strengthening implementation consistency, and ensuring ELC experiences are operationally ready to deliver high-quality student outcomes.

Essential Functions

Lead ELC Implementation & Launch Readiness

  • Manage assigned ELC implementation activities using established national frameworks, tools, timelines, and readiness standards.
  • Coordinate launch planning, operational readiness, and implementation activities with JA Areas to support successful ELC deployment.
  • Support the setup and implementation of simulation software, content management systems, operational technology, and simulation components required for launch readiness.

Support Field Operations & Implementation Success

  • Serve as a primary implementation resource for JA Areas, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and best-practice recommendations related to logistics, staffing, scheduling, curriculum delivery, and operational readiness.
  • Coordinate the ordering, deployment, and installation of implementation components, including technology, simulation equipment, displays, signage, and supporting operational systems.
  • Provide hands-on support during launch preparation and early operations to ensure the successful activation of ELC experiences.

Coordinate Cross-Functional Partnerships & Vendor Relationships

  • Collaborate with internal JA USA teams, vendors, technology partners, and implementation providers to ensure alignment with national standards, resources, and timelines.
  • Monitor implementation progress, communicate key updates, and escalate risks or issues as appropriate.

Advance Quality, Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Support adherence to ELC quality standards and implementation expectations by monitoring readiness indicators and identifying implementation risks or gaps.
  • Assist with teacher training, volunteer training, train-the-trainer programs, and implementation of readiness activities aligned with national standards.
  • Track implementation milestones and performance metrics, contributing insights and recommendations that strengthen implementation processes and field support.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of professional experience in program implementation, operations, project coordination, education, nonprofit management, or a related field
  • Prior or current experience with Junior Achievement, especially within the ELC space
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Ability to influence and support partners through expertise, collaboration, and relationship-building rather than direct authority
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, project management tools, and technology-based operational systems
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support ELC implementation efforts

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi-site, partner-driven, or field-based initiatives preferred
  • Experience working with affiliates, regional networks, vendors, school districts, or partner organizations is a plus
