Your responsibilities include inspecting packages and merchandise, helping the driver move, load, and unload equipment, and delivering orders for clients or customers. Your duties are also to install and operate GPS software to aid the delivery driver in reaching their destination. As a delivery helper, you may also engage with customers, so you need to maintain professionalism and high customer service standards. To thrive as a Delivery Helper, you need physical stamina, reliability, and basic literacy skills, often with a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with handheld scanners, GPS navigation systems, and safety protocols is typically required. Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills help you stand out in this role. These abilities ensure timely, accurate deliveries and customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and efficiency.
