Job Title: Maintenance Helper

Job Description

Join a dynamic facilities maintenance service company as a Maintenance Helper, supporting a sprawling 200,000 square foot campus consisting of three buildings. In this role, you will engage in a variety of preventative and proactive maintenance tasks across the facility, including HVAC equipment upkeep. Additionally, you will assist with cleaning and janitorial tasks to ensure a pristine and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility and HVAC equipment.
• Assist with cleaning and janitorial-related tasks, including taking out trash and organizing spaces.
• Clean filters and help with RTU maintenance.
• Provide support in plumbing, installation, and painting tasks as necessary.
• Deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in HVAC and facilities maintenance.
• Skills in repair and preventive maintenance.
• Strong customer service abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification or ability to obtain it (preferred).
• Experience in a commercial or GMP environment (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday, from 3/4 PM to 11 PM, with some flexibility and rare optional weekend overtime. You will work within a well-maintained campus featuring 300 HVAC units, alongside a Lead/Supervisor in a facility that supports 200 employees. Dress code and attire are professional to ensure safety and functionality in a collaborative work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
