Reports To: Purchasing Manager / Warehouse Manager
Job Overview:
The Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to customers while maintaining the efficient operation of the warehouse. This dual-role position combines driving responsibilities with warehouse tasks to support the overall fulfillment and delivery process.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customer locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods as per the scheduled routes.
  • Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling and secure packaging.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure safe driving and delivery.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing incoming products in the warehouse.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure products are stored in the correct locations.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move items as needed.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Must be able to work in computer system when needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required)
  • Previous delivery and warehouse experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role primarily is spent in a vehicle with some time spent in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise.
