Job description

Responsibilities

  • Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor
  • Deliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilities
  • Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff
  • Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)
  • Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)
  • Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing
  • Replace potentially expiring inventory
  • Restock depleted inventory
  • Monthly audits (cycle count)
  • Provide reports for the facility
  • Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Important: Must be local to Central Florida area
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)
  • Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred
  • Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Ability to physically perform light lifting
  • A valid driver's license & car insurance and reliable transportation required
  • Willing to drive long distances in the State of Florida

Shift:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Mileage Reimbursement:

  • Mileage reimbursement provided for travel between facilities.
